Federal EV Charger Tax Credit (Section 30C)

30% of your hardware + installation cost, up to $1,000 per charging port, claimed on IRS Form 8911. It applies only to homes in an eligible (non-urban or low-income) census tract, and — under the July 2025 federal law — the charger must be placed in service on or before June 30, 2026. After that date it no longer applies.
